LebiQ was born from a singular obsession: the primal, transformative power of fire on food. Before it was a restaurant, it was a question — what happens when you strip cooking down to its most elemental form and build upward from there?
Founder Ram grew up between two worlds — the sun-drenched coastal kitchens of Malabar, where spices spoke louder than technique, and the Mediterranean shores, where simplicity and fire were the foundations of flavour. LebiQ is where these two worlds collide.
At LebiQ, there are no gas burners hidden behind the scenes. No pre-made sauces. No frozen ingredients pulled from industrial freezers. Every dish is cooked over open flame — wood, charcoal, embers. The way food was meant to be prepared.
This philosophy extends beyond the kitchen. Our ingredients are sourced with the same uncompromising standard. Spices ground fresh daily. Seafood from the coast, never farmed. Vegetables from farms that understand the soil.
We believe that when you refuse to take shortcuts, the food speaks for itself. And when fire does the talking, it speaks in a language everyone understands.
Mediterranean and Malabar cuisines share more than geography. Both are coastal, spice-driven, and built around bold, honest flavours. LebiQ is where they find each other.
Olive oil, herbs, char-grilled meats, and the simplicity of letting fire transform quality ingredients. The Mediterranean taught us that restraint is a form of respect.
Coconut, curry leaves, black pepper, and the fearless layering of spice. Malabar taught us that boldness is generosity, and every dish should be an experience.
